Small Business Income Analyzer

Small business income analyzer and why you need it.  Everyone is purporting to be earning a gazillion dollars online but step back a moment and take a look at some numbers.  Boring stuff I know … or is it?

Let’s say you’ve started an online business or even an offline one.  How much home work have you really done before jumping in with both feet?  Do you really know what you’re getting into (in any business) … and are you guilty of counting your chickens first?  I know that all of us do at some point :-)

To get a bird’s eye view I’ve created a quick little app that will enable you to load your own details to see if your chosen business is going to potentially generate the kind of income you are expecting.  It’s something I’ve done for myself and my personal trainees and it goes hand in hand with strategic goal setting.  And frankly both should be done together.

When using this app you may discover the results might shock you, they might power you up and drive you to strive even harder or they might be right in line with what you’ve been thinking.

The bottom line is  that unless you do this exercise you’ll never really know will you.  You won’t know what areas you have to work on and what areas you’ll either need to reign in your horns or improve upon.

Hey, do you even know what your potential is?  It’s not about some pie in the sky number, hopes or wishes.  Dreams are built on foresight and thoughtful, deliberate action.  Yes, sometimes regulations and licensing make you feel like you’re a circus monkey jumping through someone’s whimsical hoops, but those are also deliberate actions you may need to be prepared to take to get yourself up and running.  It’s all part of the territory.

OK, back to this nifty little numbers app.  I’ve removed all of the fluff.  Of course you could make something similar yourself.  It won’t give you the same results, because you may not share the same insights I have from my life experiences, but it will save you a lot of time and effort … and you’ll gain the insights you’ve been looking for very quickly.

I won’t make a killing from it, but I don’t work for free either … and I’ll bet neither do you.  Save yourself some time and effort and get the insights you’ve been looking for.  You can start right now by clicking here.

IM And Counting Chickens

IM and counting chickens?  What’s that got to do with anything.  Easy.  Too many people get into internet marketing and start counting their chickens before they hatch.

Business, any business takes time and effort.  IM is no different.  And just like a real business you’ll need systems in place to help you along.  These include automation, outsourcing certain aspects, software and resources.

Take restaurants for example.  You have a lot of new restaurants starting up all of the time, yet very few last the first three years.  You’ll find remnants of people’s hopes, life savings and dreams of owning a profitable restaurant business in liquidation outlets.

And I’m not going to sugar coat it.  IM is no different.  In fact it’s worse.  Everyone and his dog is flogging the notion that they’re the next IM guru.  Nothing could be further from the truth.

While writing articles to promote a particular product or business is a natural part of the copywriting world to a point and I give you free insights as to what I’ve learned about the process.  I don’t recommend it.  It’s like watching grass grow.  Yes, eventually you’ll be mowing the lawn continuously, but it’s going to take some time.

Top of the list of opening ANY business is that you need a profitable business model.  And the best way to view one close up is to get in with a business that’s profitable and learn it from the inside out.  You won’t learn a thing from the outside looking in and that’s a fact.  You’ll only see what they want you to see – not what makes that swiss watch of a business tick so the goose can keep laying those golden eggs.

And one of those great resources that is readily affordable is the RAP software you see off to the right that will help you put much needed structure with front-end and backend systems in place.

So rule number one is – find a business that you know is making money already.  Don’t re-invent the wheel or you’re going to go broke.  Instead get a J.O.B. within your new business.  You’ll learn the ropes, the lingo, you’ll learn what specifically is needed and you’ll make the right contacts.

I don’t care if it’s a restaurant, a health food store, a real estate office, and IM business or a copywriting business.  I repeat – “You need to learn any business from the inside out”.

Now about promises.  I love it when these IM guys spout earnings.  Unless you know them personally, don’t believe it.

Come on.  If you were buying a bricks and motor business you’d go with your real estate agent, and the first thing you’re going to ask for are the books.  And you want to see the TAX records so you know you’re not buying a pig in a poke.  And the list of what you want to see before you even decide you’re at a point where you might make a decision grows exponentially from there to things like chattels, environmental questions, the full proforma, leasehold items and obligations and a whole host of others.

Look, I don’t want to dissuade you from going into business for yourself.  In fact I applaud you.  But the fact is that you need to put some brains between your ears and arm yourself with the right tools first.

I can count on six fingers the people in IM whom I have a healthy respect for.  They are: Clayton Makepeace, Daniel Levis, Marlon Sanders, Brendon Buchard, Jeff Walker and Frank Kern.

A close second is Russel Brunson and Mark Ling.  My only reservation with both Russ and Mark is that once you sign on with them, they’ll keep hitting you with promotion after promotion.

The members in the first group will let you know the odd promotion ‘THAT THEY KNOW WORKS AND THEY BELIEVE IN”.  It’s only my personal perception, but they are a lot more selective in the quality of the products they produce and promote.

OK.  Enough already.  It’s time for a little insight into keeping your finances in order while you get your IM business underway and my next post will be on “keeping the nest” so you can have those chickens of yours hatching in a supportive environment.

Great Content Deserves Fabulous Design: MyECovers Review

You know great content deserves fabulous design – especially where your cover graphics are concerned.

How many of us have skimped on the obvious?  I know I’ve been just as guilty of this as most.  You get so wrapped up in what you’re doing and you want to just get it done that you forget to get a great cover or graphic design to help get your message across and get the reader to actually open the package or your book.

Great Covers Start Here

Once you’ve got a design or idea in mind of what you’d like to see, and before you hire it out, you might want to play around with a bit of freeware to enable you to get a feel for what your finished cover might look like.

Googling the words “free ecovers” returned a huge number of links, many of which were bogus or tried to tie me into contracts.  But after a few pages I found a terrific site that gives you the fabulous option of trying out some free ecover designs that are totally customizable with everything from text to your own personal graphics or you can use their in-house graphic tools.

The really cool thing is that you not only get a really great and professional looking cover design for free, but if you want to really add some spice to it you can get the pro-design done for you or if you’re someone who puts out a lot of reports and content you can use their software for unlimited covers for an extremely low monthly fee of under $10.  It simply doesn’t get any better than this.

And did I say quick?  Nothing to install, nothing to download … point and click, upload a photo or use one of theirs and you’re done.  I was able to create a couple of really great covers in under 5 minutes.  It just doesn’t get any cooler than that.

Of course their are a few really great high octane cover and graphics designers out there, but for those just starting out … in my humble opinion, there is none better than MyECover.

Cheers,

Top Level Niche Businesses

Looking for top level niche businesses on the net?  Ever notice how hard it seems to be when you re-invent the wheel and do it yourself from scratch.  It is easier you know… much easier.

Get Started By Buying Your Own Top Level Niche Businesses

Most people start off by trying to re-invent the wheel.  That is the very reason many top level marketers let someone else do the leg work setting up an authority site, and then just when the poor fella is burnt out and is ready to turn a profit (but hasn’t yet) the big guns swoop in and help take it off his hands.

Which category do you fit into?  The top gun or the fella that’s slaving away?

Heck many newbies to making a living online aren’t even at the stage where they’re building an authority site, they’re just running round in circles trying to find the next big thing.  I hope that’s not you.

Make no mistake, you can’t expect to just slap up a page or three and start raking in some cash.  To build a lasting online business you have to offer a quality product wrapped up in a quality buying experience where the customer (YOUR customer) feels a connection and rapport with you.  If that rapport isn’t there … then no exchange happens.

Marlon Sanders does a wonderful job of teaching you step by step how to create your own product yourself and helps you take it from there.

Russell Brunson does a great job of teaching you how to create your own micro-continuity, membership style type of business and how you can get it launched quickly along with your own product.  And again you have to put in the time to put it all together.

But, right now for a very short time Mark Ling will give you five (yes five!) top level niche businesses fully set up and ready to rock.  The setup is virtually one click.

The niches are all top level.  Each niche is a web-business in itself.  They come complete with everything ready for you to customize the way you like it, all the graphics, all of the articles, a couple of ebooks each, full year’s worth of follow-ups and … heck just click the link below.

Top Level Niche Businesses

It’s your copy of his five step formula and gives you all the nitty gritty on the details of how you can get five internet businesses up and running in a heartbeat.  Well, OK … a little more than a heartbeat :-)

Here’s your 5 Steps To A $10k Business – full report courtesy of Mark Ling

The last time Mark opened his doors with this it sold out quickly and then the door to getting your own fully set up web-businesses was slammed shut.

Heck I even know of a few of the people who bought a series of 5 top level niches sold them off individually and pocketed the difference.  Choice is yours, but point is this.

If you’ve got five full top level niche businesses all pulling in some cash for you … why not get a few more started?  The only thing you’ll miss out on is making more money.

Cheers,

Ange

PS – and once you’ve got them up head over to my resources page – and grab your report on how to properly put it up on Facebook and Twitter so you can get the buzz out.

Your Internet Business Report Card

We all know that at one time or another we slip up, we forget something or we’re outright wrong on something.

The thing is to come clean, share your experiences, learn from them and move forward.  I’ve been putting a lot of time in helping other people learn what I’ve learned and neglecting my own progress.

The point is no business, internet or otherwise will succeed long if you don’t know what you’re headed, what your numbers are and especially not if you have no goal posts to measure your progress. In other words you need to make a “report card” on yourself – to help you keep on track.  Makes sense?

OK.  Look I know I get bogged down on occasion and chances are you do too.  If you need someone to hold you accountable to a deadline … post me back with the words “Wanted: Report Card Coach” and I promise to help you out.

On a different note and as a way of holding myself accountable to you, here is the latest about my own project:

It’s the Thanksgiving Weekend coming up and if you’ve been sizing up that dream home you’d like to surprise your significant other with :

Here is a super Thanksgiving Special you don’t want to miss.  Check it out at www.firsttimebuyersloans.info – miss it and you risk losing that new home!

It’s part of a project I’ve been working on for the past five months.  The full course launch is now closed, but as a special thank you to those of you who shared your secret frustrations and hopes about buying your new home with me it’s my way of paying it forward and giving back.

Lord knows that enough people are struggling right now without getting a “sock-it-to-’em” kind of loan.  It’s in the details you see.  What you don’t know could crush you.

Anyhow, enough of my rant.  This is about you, your progress and giving back this Thanksgiving.  My sincerest wish is that you succeed.

Happy Thanksgiving,

PS – I’m putting up 4 new resources for you today.  They’re totally free and will help you get your internet business on the fast track.  They are:  How To Put Your Business On Autopilot, How To Go From Scratch To 50G’s,  How To Distribute Your Customer Magnets on Social Media like Twitter and Facebook, and The Fastest Marketing System.

Tobri – New Network Taking Social Networking By Storm

I was a bit hesitant to talk about Tobri these last few months as earlier this summer  we were all sworn to secrecy.  I had been invited to beta test it.  And quite simply – I love it. In fact I can’t believe I’m still learning new things about it …. like that little box to the right that says “Tobri Rank”.

That little widget is a new app that will allow you to get the word out about this wonderful new networking media, or invite people into your circle of friends, and show you’re a proud supporter without getting in someone’s face about it.

Those of you who are looking to make new connections in a great environment can. Whether you’re looking to make business connections, social connections, or find new friendships.

Back to still learning about all of the features of this new paradigm called Tobri.  It wasn’t until Ken McArthur  (Tobri founding member) sent me an email yesterday asking me if I had used the new widget and what I thought of it – that I even realized it was there.

I love it’s simplicity, and it’s un-offensive direct purpose and statement.

To discover the emerging world of Tobri that’s taking the Social Networking scene by storm click here to get your own tour.

You’ll find it’s like Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and more – all rolled into one.  And – you can still interface with those app’s from your account.  How cool is that?

Guess that’s why it’s already ranked 746 by Alexa – and it’s hardly out of the gate yet.

You also have an “in-system” blog, a classifieds section, and the ability to connect with groups or individuals at a whole new level.  My little blurb here doesn’t do justice to what it is really about.

One thing is that it is different from, and can work in tandem with Russell Brunson’s ISA which I touched on briefly yesterday.

Don’t take my word for it – check it out and decide for yourself.  And visit me at  Tobri

Micro C Progress Report

Some of you know I’ve decided to put Russell’s Micro C program (my program was part of a larger membership package) to the test.   Here’s what’s been happening.

In mid- August I signed on and got the Quick Start CDs about 10 days later.  I had already gone through 2 modules and was working on the third by the time the CD’s arrived.  And they really helped understand the techno-babble stuff of proper page flow and placement.

I had 95% completed my brand new product, put up the couple of ASK campaign pages and then the unthinkable happened.

Russell decided to revamp the program and I waited weeks, and still no further modules!! But graciously Russell’s team pointed me to their “initial $100 Million Contest (now expired) which had all of their original Micro C content with all of the initial videos.  I wasn’t able to get the pdf’s (guess they had lost a lot of stuff due to some computer melt down), but hey … I was thrilled to get the videos … and be able to continue on with working on my product.

The first in a series of videos is up at www.firsttimebuyersloans.info .

One of my biggest hurdles is that I wanted to use a software program where I have my files in hand where I can have a copy of them and a program that is old mac friendly.  In mid August I had started with WP – ha … after the new update … some of my plug-ins didn’t work and my whole database of the few people I had was lost – like gone!  What a headache.

So, using my old web app on my old mac I built a few pages (work with me here guys – I don’t want you to laugh … hey – it’s the content that’s important while I locate a great webmaster).  See what I get for ignoring Russell’s advice to use Weebly?

So anyway, the web application on my mac is doing wonderfully.  Then one morning early October it asks for an update.  Updates have never been an issue with it before … so OK, done.  I make some adjustments to my new pages and publish my new changes and *(&)&)^^%!!! – elements are missing, widgets are missing, fonts are AWOL and the whole thing is an absolute mess!

I go to their support website.  No one knows anything except the people who are screaming just like me.  But, one lone post by one smart cookie about a long drawn out work around … but I tried it anyway.  Eureka!!! It worked.  Happy days are here again!

OK, so yesterday I updated my site.  All the elements now appear to be working and I’m back on the road.  Today to delve more into SA and the next steps of building my Micro C business.

Now you might want to know why I chose the topic I did, even though we all know that home sales are dead.  The reason is that real estate has been my field for over 18 years.  I eat, sleep and breathe it.  I love the smell of a new home going up.  I love helping people from the ground up.  From choosing their lot, to helping them with design, figuring out where the best sunlight can filter through what windows, to architectural approvals and changes to lockup to completion and final occupancy.  I love to watch the delight on the families faces as they go from hope, to belief to uncertainty to delight with the final product – THEIR new home.

But here’s the kicker.  I hate seeing those same families ripped off by an unseen, hidden agenda that most of us don’t even know about.  Something that’s washed over quickly, ignored or are blatantly lied to about (as happened to me).  So there you have it.  That’s why I chose this topic.

I fully expect the real estate market to continue it’s downward spiral for a few more years.  And I’m probably a nut to continue with this.  And I expect there will be more devastated families, but if I can help more families avoid a severe shock, like the one I got, then this will have been worth it.

Can’t stand it when I see families being kicked in the teeth.  I used the money I saved to help with a small chunk of my dad’s much needed medical expenses.  Take a look at my video, then post me back here on “How would you use your savings”

Cheers,
