You know great content deserves fabulous design – especially where your cover graphics are concerned.
How many of us have skimped on the obvious? I know I’ve been just as guilty of this as most. You get so wrapped up in what you’re doing and you want to just get it done that you forget to get a great cover or graphic design to help get your message across and get the reader to actually open the package or your book.
Great Covers Start Here
Once you’ve got a design or idea in mind of what you’d like to see, and before you hire it out, you might want to play around with a bit of freeware to enable you to get a feel for what your finished cover might look like.
Googling the words “free ecovers” returned a huge number of links, many of which were bogus or tried to tie me into contracts. But after a few pages I found a terrific site that gives you the fabulous option of trying out some free ecover designs that are totally customizable with everything from text to your own personal graphics or you can use their in-house graphic tools.
The really cool thing is that you not only get a really great and professional looking cover design for free, but if you want to really add some spice to it you can get the pro-design done for you or if you’re someone who puts out a lot of reports and content you can use their software for unlimited covers for an extremely low monthly fee of under $10. It simply doesn’t get any better than this.
And did I say quick? Nothing to install, nothing to download … point and click, upload a photo or use one of theirs and you’re done. I was able to create a couple of really great covers in under 5 minutes. It just doesn’t get any cooler than that.
Of course their are a few really great high octane cover and graphics designers out there, but for those just starting out … in my humble opinion, there is none better than MyECover.
Cheers,
