Hey, for those of you who visit this blog, you know I try to recommend only those products I think are worthwhile and true to their claims. Most of the links on this blog are affiliate links. And they might pay me a small referral fee if you buy one of their products.
But get this – I don’t recommend only things I may be an affiliate of. I recommend only those I sincerely believe in. Period. And no – I don’t claim you’ll make a penny on any of them. Each person is an individual with individual choices, needs, desires, drive and outcomes.
Brings to mind a story a teacher of mine once used to illustrate my point. It goes something like this… Three guys were watching the traffic on the street and a gorgeous classic car went by. One of the chaps says “OOooh, man that’s hot!” The other says “Freaking gorgeous ….!” The third fellow says “Wow, first in show!”. The first fellow was talking about the blond driving the car. The second was talking about the car and the third was talking about the broad’s poodle on the front seat.
Just goes to show, everyone, even though exposed to the same stimuli, instructions or manuals will always see, do and interpret things differently – ever see what happens when you and your spouse try too assemble those “easy and ready to assemble” products from places like Sears? Point made.
There are also a few links on this blog which are not affiliate links – I’m simply recommending the product or service because I think it’s that good – and maybe, just maybe if you get enough free QUALITY information from me, you just might one day (maybe never, or maybe today you will) buy something that is from an affiliate and even though I may get a referral, you’ll have the hoo-ha to come and say – “Hey – I bought that what-cha-ma-call-it you recommended – and boy am I ever glad I did … it really did change my life for the better – Thank you”.
Anyhow, better get back to getting my home ready for winter, saw some of those snow flakes today and I sure hope the forecast gets better…
